This is a story about the Alphabet tree. The tree has big green leaves (տերևներ). Thera are letters (տառեր) on all the leaves. They live (ապրում են) happily. Each (ամեն) letter has its favourite leaf where it sits (նստում է) in the sun.
One day the strong wind (ուժեղ քամի) blows away (փչում տանում է) some of the leaves. Others hide (թաքնվում են) on the lower (ավելի ցածր) branches (ճյուղեր).
A funny red and black bug (բզեզ) with yellow wings (թևեր) sees (տեսնում է) them hiding and says(ասում), “I am the word (բառ) bug! I can teach (սովորեցնել) you how to make words(կազմել բառեր)! If you get together in threes and fours, no wind will be strong enough to blow you away!” (Եթե դուք միավորվեք երեք կամ չորս հատով, ոչ մի քամի այդքան ուժեղ չի լինի, որ ձեզ փչի տանի։)
The leaves start to make words (սկսում են բառեր կազմել)։ dog, cat, leaf, earth (երկիր). They climb (մագլցում են) back on the highest (ամենաբարձր) leaves. Now the wind can’t blow them away.
One summer morning, a strange (տարօրինակ) caterpillar (թրթուր) appears (հայտնվում է). It is purple, wooly (բրդոտ), and very large (մեծ). “You can get together (միավորվել) and make (կազմել) sentences (նախադասություններ) and mean(նշանակել) something (ինչ-որ բան)” says the caterpillar.
Now they can really (իսկապես) write (գրել) and say (ասել) things! “Leaves are green”, “The bug is small”. The caterpillar says,”You can say something important (ինչ-որ կարևոր բան)!”
The leaves get together and say, “PEACE ON EARTH AND GOODWILL TOWARD ALL MEN!” (Խաղաղությո՜ւն երկրին և բարի կա՜մք բոլոր մարդկանց։)
The letters climb onto caterpillar’s back (մեջք) and it takes(տանում է) them through all the world (ողջ աշխարհով մեկ).
2. Now imagine that you have an Alphabet tree and try to make as many words as you can. Then make sentences with some of them. (Այժմ պատկերացրո՛ւ, որ դու ունես Այբուբենի ծառ և կազմի՛ր այնքան բառեր, որքան կարող ես։ Հետո դրանցից մի քանիսով կազմի՛ր նախադասություններ։) Draw the tree in Paint and insert the words. (Նկարիր ծառը Paint ծրագրով և մուտքագրիր բառերը։)
I love apple.
My cup is big.
The trees have green leaves.
3. Read the given examples and make your own ones. (Կարդա՛ տրված օրինակները և կազմի՛ր նմանատիպ օրինակներ։)
- This is Aram. He has a pen. His pen is in the pencil-case.
- This is Ani. She has a doll. Her doll is on the bed.
- This is a cat. It has a ball. Its ball is under the table.
This is Vahe. He has a dog. His dog is in the home.
This is Narek. He has a car. His car is on the table.
4. Translate the text into English. (Թարգմանի՛ր տեքստը անգլերեն։)
Սա տղա է։ Նրա անունը Դավիթ է։ Նա ութ տարեկան է։ Նա դպրոցական է։ Դավիթը բարձրահասակ է։ Նա ունի սև մազեր և մոխրագույն աչքեր։ Նրա քիթը փոքր է, նրա ականջները մեծ են։
Դավիթը կարողանում է հեծանիվ վարել և ֆուտբոլ խաղալ, բայց նա չի կարողանում լողալ։ Նա կարողանում է շախմատ խաղալ։ Նա շատ խելացի է։
This is a boy. His name is Davit. He is eight. He is a student. Davit is tall. He have brown hairs and grey eyes. His nose is small, his ears are big.
Davit can ride a bike and play football, but he cant swim. He can play chess. He is very smart.
